Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) BMPs

The Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma deliculata) Best Management Practices (BMPs) and Pest Module were developed by CNCI to guide nursery farms in preventing SLF entry from imports from infested areas and/or the outside environment. You can reference the BMPs when developing your pest module.

If SLF is detected in Canada, an approved Clean Plants SLF Pest Module will meet CFIA's phytosanitary requirements for moving nursery stock from a regulated to a non-regulated area in Canada.
